Workshop on “Management of learning disabilities in primary school children”

The RCDA conducted a workshop on “Management of learning disabilities in primary school children” for the teachers of the Primary section of Royal College on the 4^th of June 2016.

The lectures were delivered by Dr. (Mrs) Swarna Wijethunge & Dr. (Mrs) Sudarshi Senevirathne, Consultants in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, while Dr. Miyuru Chandradasa, senior lecturer in Psychiatry conducted the program.

Over 60 Teachers from the primary section of Royal College participated and shared their experiences on students with learning disabilities. The panel of lecturers then advised them on managing such issues.  

The RCDA extends its gratitude to Mr. B.A. Abeyrathne, The Principal of Royal College and Sister Disna Siyaguna, Deputy Principal of the Primary section for their support and Dr. Miyura Chandradasa for organizing this workshop on behalf of the RCDA.
