Health Screening of the athletes who are willing to participate at the sports activities including the annual Road Race 2023

To ensure the medical fitness of each individual athlete, prior to Road race as per the circulars issued by the Ministry of Education, all the students were given the opportunity to take the ECGs at the school premises, arranged by the RCDA . A total of 916 ECGs were taken over 3 days. Health screening was done on same day when the children underwent their ECGs. Around 10 doctors including a Respiratory Physician and Cardiology Senior Registrar were joined the event on each day. Five students were referred for 2D echoes for further assessment. The respiratory physician has modified/ started asthma treatment on few students.
