Pain in the lower portion of the back bone.

I am 81 years of age. Retired from Government service, and after working in the private and NGO sector for about 10 years, presently leading a quiet retired life. I am very careful about my diet. My blood pressure as well as psoriasis is kept under control. . For the last over 40 years off an on I get a severe pain in the lower portion of the spinal cord which does not allow me to bend or turn as it gives much pain. I have taken enough Western as well as Eastern medication from reputed Specialists with only a relief temporarily and the pain props up unknowingly with a little pressure on movement on the joint. Indomezathene Sulphate known as Indocid (trade name) along with Paracetamol gives the relief which have been the recommendation by most doctors. I hear that prolong use of this lead to other problems. Please advice me on how I could get rid of this Pain.
